Back home, as soon as Charlotte entered, a small, soft body collided with her.
“Wait for me!” Anna ran over quickly and grabbed the person holding Charlotte’s leg.
Charlotte lowered her head in confusion and exclaimed, “Telma? What are you doing here?”
“Mom, do you know her, Telma Forkner?” Anna blinked, looking up at Charlotte.
“Telma Faulkner?” Charlotte frowned and looked at Telma. “Isn’t Milne Kerson your father?”
Before Telma could reply, Anna chimed in, “Her last name is Forkner. Ben told me last night!”
It turned out she had misunderstood. Charlotte smiled and patted Telma’s head. “So you must have your mom’s last
name.”
“Yes, yes! Just like me and my brother!” Anna puffed up her little chest and bounced around. Charlotte couldn’t help but
pinch her cheek. “I see you’re a clever little imp!”

Charlotte found out from Gorya that Telma was Anna’s classmate and lived nearby. When Anna learned that Telma’s
father had to work overtime, she took the initiative to invite her to come over and play.
What she didn’t expect was that Telma had a previous connection with Charlotte.
