Scarlett did not like this kind of team. She was essentially a businessperson, hence she naturally hoped to invest and receive the maximum benefit. She did not like to put all her money somewhere without gaining anything.
She had long seen the proposal. The one in her hands was more or less the same as the one she previously saw, but there were changes in some details.
Since she had been keeping quiet, Jared could not help but feel anxious. “Miss Scarlett, I’m very confident in this product and our company’s team. Moreover, this app was originally developed with the intention to provide higher protection for our society. With the increase of public molestation cases these years, I believe that this app will become a commonly used software like PayPal. As the first and only open team, I also believe that we won’t be replaced.”
When Jared finished, he also realized that he was a little too impatient.
At the negotiation table, being impatient was the most taboo thing.
Having said that, he had to be impatient. They had been pitched for a long time with their business plan, and many investment banks had contacted them lately, but most of them did not follow up after the first discussion.
The software development market in the country was different from the past, not to mention the online market had also been about being new and fast. Other people could also think of what they could come up with.
They had developed the app, but they needed money for post-operation, maintenance, as well as promotion costs to put it into the market.

All in all, it would be difficult for them to advance without money, and Scarlett was Yet League’s last straw. As such, Jared could only be impatient.
At the end of the day, Jared simply acted recklessly as he was desperate. He took a sip of his lemon water and added, “Miss Scarlett, we can give up 15% of the shares.”
Scarlett closed the proposal and raised her eyebrow slightly. “Half a million dollars, 15% of the shares, and a veto right. If you think that everything is okay, Mr. Sander, I’ll have my secretary go through the relevant procedures tomorrow.”
After she finished, she paused for a while and added, “But there’s one thing-the half a million dollars will be invested in my name instead of Mornet.”
Jared frowned after he heard what she said. “Can I discuss this with the other shareholders?”
Half a million dollars was a bit lesser than what Jared and the others had expected, but it was
still within an acceptable range. Nevertheless, since the investment would not be done by Mornet, it would be a huge difference for them.
Scarlett had expected this, so she was not surprised. She smiled and said, “Yes, you can. Once you’re done considering, you can just contact Secretary Lawrence.”
“Alright. Thanks for coming, Miss Scarlett.”
Scarlett raised her eyebrow and declined to comment. Instead, she said, “I’m very optimistic about you, and I hope that we’ll have this opportunity to cooperate.”
“I’ll definitely consider it carefully.”
It was quite late, thus Jared suggested having dinner together if Scarlett had nothing else to do.
Scarlett thought about Michael at her place and politely declined the invitation.
“I won’t bother you then.”
Scarlett nodded, and they parted at the coffee shop’s entrance.
After parting with Jared, Scarlett first drove to the supermarket to buy two steaks as she planned to deal with dinner like this first today.
The sky was quite dark by the time she reached home.
