Chapter 1139

Flora was way too full of herself, and Jenna, overwhelmed by anger and the weight of her injuries, just passed out cold. Mike rushed to get someone to help her out.

Flora couldn't be bothered to stick around and turned on her heel to leave. It had been one heck of a long day. She was itching to get back home and have Connor whip up some sweet and sour pork chops and garlic butter shrimp to recharge her batteries.

But just as she was about to head out, a bunch of bodyguards stepped in her way. Even though they were a bit intimidated by Moss and Beck, they couldn't help but try to stop Flora. They were there on orders from the Neville family to protect Jenna, and now that Jenna was in bad shape, their necks were on the line!

"You've hurt our young miss, you can't just leave! The head of the family will be here any minute!"

Flora's face didn't flinch: "Well, he can take it up with me when he gets here. Now, out of my way."

When they didn't budge, Flora casually lifted her foot and sent a swift kick. It looked like she didn't even try, but the guy blocking her stumbled back a few steps and hit the deck! "Big brother!"

The other bodyguards rushed to help him up.

Flora didn't break stride, marching forward with Moss and Beck flanking her. No one dared to intervene.

The man clutched his stomach, still reeling, and watched Flora and her crew saunter off: "Forget it, let's wait for the boss to get here. He won't let that woman get away with this!"

Word that Flora had shot Jenna ten times spread like wildfire across the medical base. Everyone was floored!

They couldn't even find the words to describe Flora.
