Everyone at the training ground paused, stunned by her boldness. She exuded a powerful aura that made even the bravest among them hesitate. It was an instinctive respect and submission that seemed to well up from deep within their hearts. But then they remembered she was just a woman from the Mortal World. How could this be? How could they be intimidated by someone who didn't know the first thing about ancient martial arts?

Rory's heart skipped a beat, but the thought of Flora's origins made his expression sour. Talk was cheap. What was the use of aura without real skill? Without genuine ability, you were nothing. Could Flora really stand up to their challenge?

Connor stood by Flora, momentarily caught off guard by the brilliance in her eyes. His Flora... always strong, always confident, no matter where she was. She shone so brightly, it was impossible to look away. If she wanted to take on a challenge, he would let her. "Anyone up for challenging Flora? Step right up," Connor announced.
