Chapter 1267

Upon hearing this, Kenneth narrowed his eyes at Flora. It was her again.

"Jacob, Carly, did you guys mess up again?" Hawthorn shot, not even bothering to ask for reasons and immediately placing the blame on Jacob and Carly.

Jacob was livid! After everything they'd been through these past few days, being bullied left and right, and even dragging Flora into it, now Hawthorn was trying to pin the whole thing on them. Enough was enough! "What do you mean we messed up? Don't talk to me like your brain's wrapped in cobwebs. It's nauseating!"

Jacob was at his boiling point: "Hawthorn, do you even realize what you've done these past few days? Do I need to lay it all out for you?"

"Shut it!" Hawthorn barked. "Who are you calling 'old man'? Get out of here!"

Jacob, who was one of his trainees, dared to talk back at him like that, challenging Hawthorn's authority, especially in front of Rory and Kenneth. It was humiliating.

More importantly, Hawthorn feared Jacob might spill some beans that were better left unsaid, so he hastily kicked him out!

"Me, leave?" Jacob retorted like a porcupine bristling with spikes. "Carson, Hawthorn's been targeting us in training! If you don't believe me, ask anyone. Look at these marks!"

With that, Jacob pulled up his sleeves, revealing bruises and cuts all over.

These were the results of excessive training.
