"Don't worry about it," Jackson said with a soft chuckle, leaving it at that.

Once they left Grandpa Woods' place, Jackson and Kimberly found their way through the Woods estate surprisingly unimpeded. It was much smoother this time, although the curious and puzzled looks from the family members followed them.

They headed straight to the house where their parents used to live. It had been left empty for a long time, but thankfully, a housekeeper had been keeping it clean. While the place looked old, it was bigger than other houses in the Woods family. With a bit of sprucing up, it could even outshine the main branch of the Woods in New York.

Kimberly searched the house carefully, just in case the old man had left any gadgets to keep an eye on them. They couldn't rule out the possibility.

Their thoroughness paid off when they found several dusty micro-cameras. They were clearly outdated, buried under layers of dust. After removing the batteries, they tossed them into the trash.

Meanwhile, some of the older Woods family members, aware that Jackson and Kimberly were back, were keen to keep an eye on them. But when they tried to fire up the old surveillance system, they found nothing but blank screens-the devices had been ditched.

Once settled, Jackson sent a reassuring message to Fiona.
