This whole mix-up really stirred things up.

"You've got the wrong idea. I'm just here to pick someone up, not to start a shift at a club," Fiona explained, feeling a bit exasperated but grateful for the driver's concern. Honestly, if it had been someone else, they might not have even bothered to warn her, let alone ask her to leave the car. She could've ended up in an embarrassing situation.

"Thanks, could you please take me to my actual destination?" Fiona said, her demeanor brightening as she got back into the car. Once the driver caught on to the mix-up, he didn't say much else. He simply hit the gas and they were off, reaching her destination in no time.

Fiona just gave a little huff, choosing not to reply.
