Tyler stepped outside, leaving Fiona alone with Anna. Fiona knew it would be easier if Anna told her story herself, rather than hearing it secondhand.

"Mr. Connor, I was assaulted." As soon as Anna said the words, tears streamed down her face. She shook, unable to look up, every part of her reliving the nightmare. "It was Carson. He's part of the Kidd family."

"That night, I went to a friend's birthday party. On my way home, I stopped to use the bathroom. That's when Carson got me. He said he'd been watching me for a long time. He drugged me and took me to a hotel. At first, it was just him. But when I came to, I was barely awake and there were several men on top of me. I was so scared."

"Carson kept taking pictures, like I was just some object to them. When they finished, they left. The hotel cleaning lady found me and tried to call the police, but Carson came back with his guys and beat her up. They dragged me out and dumped me in an alley.
