Things were moving fast back in the States.

Jane stepped through the door and immediately spotted three people still sprawled out on the floor. She rubbed her temples-clearly, these three hadn't even begun to sober up from last night.

By the window, Fiona stood quietly, holding a bottle of water and staring outside.

"What are you looking at?" Jane wandered over, a smile tugging at her lips.

She stood next to Fiona and glanced out, but there was nothing much to see. "There's not really a view, you know."

Fiona just smiled and didn't say anything. She kept to herself the fact that, from this angle, you could see all the way to where the ocean met the sky.

"You ready?" Jane asked.

Fiona twisted the cap back onto her water and turned away from the window. "Yeah. Let's go."

She kept the bottle close-Jackson had just dropped it off a few minutes ago in a plastic bag, and she hadn't let go since.

The two of them left the room together. As they walked out, Jane glanced back at the trio still knocked out on the floor and shook her head in disbelief.

With drinking skills like theirs, she thought, there was no way she'd let them go wild next time. If they wanted to do something, they should just stick to their design work.
