The whole drive was tense-so quiet it almost hurt. Fiona drifted in and out of sleep, nibbling on pomegranate seeds, while Amy kept sneaking glances at her, trying not to get caught.

When Tyler rescued her, Amy was sure he was the hero. But then she overheard him gushing to someone about how it was really Fiona who'd made it all happen. He talked about Fiona like she was some kind of miracle worker. Ever since, Amy had been dying to meet her in person.
