Chapter 360 Rescuing Lucy

Lucy needed help right away!

"I'm here, Lucy. Get up and get dressed," Penelope said, propping her up. "Hold on, I'll grab your shoes."

Lucy nodded, but then her nose started bleeding.

Penelope's vision blurred, her legs wobbled, and she almost collapsed.

She grabbed her phone to call an ambulance. "Ruby, stay with Sam. I'm taking Lucy to the hospital!"

Ruby rushed over, barefoot, and froze at the sight of all the blood. "What happened?" "Fever, nosebleed," Penelope's voice shook. "We need to get to the nearest hospital." She picked up Lucy and headed out.

The village had winding mountain roads, and the stone paths were hard to navigate in the dark. But Penelope didn't care; she just needed to get to the hospital.

She didn't know how long she walked, but finally, she saw the ambulance lights. "Here! Over here!" she waved frantically.

The medics jumped out with a stretcher. Seeing Lucy, their faces turned serious. "Please save her," Penelope begged, almost collapsing, tears in her eyes. "She has leukemia, but this has never happened before. I don't know what's wrong..."
