hapter 42 Sharing A Strawberry

Ezra wanted to say something to persuade Hazel to stay, but she simply walked away.

Gabriel opened a gap and Cwatched her receding figure without turning back, his face growing increasingly solemn.

Ezra returned to the ward and saw Gabriel dozing off on the couch. He breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the boss hadn’t heard those words.

When Hazel arrived at the hospital downstairs, the driver was already waiting by the roadside.

She got on the car and thought about what happened today.

The last time she had John pick up that client, it was Dylan’s father, who had pleaded with ZN Laboratory to help his recently found son.

Just as she happened to be in Seattle, she went to the hospital to take a look.

Dylan’s health was not very good during college. He worked part–time all year round and sent the money he earned back to his parents, except for the tuition fees. He had a poor diet and was thin and pale.

Even so, he still remained the aloof campus heartthrob of the University of Washington.

That face was indeed handsome and compelling.

Dylan’s father, after finally finding his biological son, had another incident, causing him to have half of his hair turn white and appear exhausted.

Since she agreed to it, it was certain that she would save the person.

Hazel went home and spent a long time playing with her daughter before going to pick up Jaxon and Joshua when the time came.

Little did I know, as soon as I got off the car, I saw Gabriel.

This time, he didn’t have Gianna by his side. He stood alone by the car, watching the children coming out of school one by one.

Jaxon and Joshua were wearing the clothes customized by Hazel, brightly colored and lively, happily running towards Leila..

“Sister!”

Leila, holding three candied haws in her hand, looked up when she heard a voice and waved the candied haws at Jaxon and Joshua.

‘Here, brother, eat.”

Jaxon and Joshua each received a string of candied hawthorns.

The little one still had a bunch in her hand, as she had purposely waited for her two brothers to finish school and eat together.

While the three little ones were happily eating, they heard Gabriel’s icy words of accusation, “Are you feeding the children this junk food?”

Hazel was peeling the candy wrapper for Leila.

Upon hearing the man’s words, her face suddenly turned cold. She lifted her gaze to Gabriel, her
