Sherman's lips curved into a faint smile as he began to respond: "Haven't been yet."

The truth was, Anthea really did care about Sherman. It was because Sherman's condition was just too bizarre. She was curious about what strange illness Sherman had contracted. After all, what illness was there that she couldn't diagnose? Anthea: "Let me know when you go."

Sherman: "Heading there in a bit."

Anthea: "You should get a full-body MRI to make sure everything's checked out."

"Will do."

After replying to Anthea's message, Sherman stubbed out his cigarette and headed towards the door, immediately feeling as if the air itself had sweetened.

His secretary stood up quickly as he came out, "Mr. Christensen."

Sherman nodded slightly, "Tell Claud I'm heading to the hospital."

To the hospital?

The secretary was shocked! Having worked by Sherman's side for over a decade, he had never once seen Sherman go to the hospital. Sherman was particularly sensitive to the smell of hospitals; he wouldn't even go for a common cold or fever. And yet, today, he was voluntarily going...

What was going on? Did he have some serious illness?

The secretary, in his surprise, informed the driver, Claud.

By the time Sherman reached the building's ground floor, Claud had already prepared the car.

Like the secretary, Claud was equally surprised.

When the hospital director learned Sherman was coming, he personally waited at the hospital entrance early on to lead him through the VIP entrance.

"Mr. Christensen, right this way, please."

Sherman gave a slight nod.
