Chapter 454

"Such a disgrace!" Rebecca thought, her eyes narrowing as she watched Talbot's reaction. When he noticed Anthea entering the room, he immediately stood and walked over to her.

There was no doubt in Rebecca's mind that Talbot was about to escort Anthea out. After all, who was Anthea compared to her? Could Anthea possibly bring as much value to AY Corporation as she could?

Rebecca fiddled with her earring, a smug smile playing on her lips. If Anthea realized Talbot was about to send her packing, she'd likely be unable to handle it and might even resort to pathetic antics, making a fool of herself.

Rebecca leaned back, looking out the window, imagining the embarrassment that would surely follow for Anthea. Her satisfaction grew with the thought. Finally, after all these days, she'd see Anthea humiliated.

But then, to Rebecca's astonishment, Talbot didn't send Anthea away. Instead, he whispered something in her ear, and the two of them walked inside together, with Talbot looking rather deferential.

What on earth was going on? Rebecca frowned. Could it be that without President Yeager's approval, even Talbot dared not act against Anthea?

As they entered the room, Rebecca's face hardened. "Mr. Talbot, haven't I told you? If you want me to continue our collaboration, then this second-rate internet personality needs to disappear from my sight immediately!"
