Brian's expression was anything but pleasant; he looked like he was about to grind his teeth into dust. "I can't believe it! Sabrina actually went and hired male dancers!"

Joshua noticed Allison, wine glass in hand, casually brushing her fingers over the chest of one of the male dancers. The sharp tang of the tequila and lime he'd just downed still lingered, making even the air feel acidic.

Unable to take it anymore, Joshua shot to his feet, startling Brian next to him. "Joshua, what're you doing?"

"I'm taking her home."

Brian snatched his arm, "Hold on. You can't show your face right now. If Chris has spies here, all your hard work will be for nothing."

Not far away, Allison was laughing, surrounded by a pack of eager men, with Sabrina egging them on. Joshua's face darkened as he prepared to intervene, but before he could, Brian charged forward, a cool breeze following in his wake.
