Lying back down, sleep was the last thing on Allison's mind. Worry about her sister, who was still missing with her fate unknown, weighed heavily on her, making her feel unbearably anxious. And then there were Kate's fanatical followers, who posed a potential threat as well. The memory of the man with glasses throwing acid at her, his face twisted with hate, was etched into her mind, becoming a recurring nightmare.
