"Absolutely, no doubt about it," Allison replied with a bit of a forced grin. "Who'd pass up a chance to make some money, right?"

She settled into the armchair beside Joshua, as the assistant poured them coffee and quietly left, closing the door behind her.

Allison raised her cup, taking a sip. "So, Mr. Fisher, how do you want to go about this partnership?"

Joshua pulled out a couple of folders. "These are the cases that need representation at the moment."

He handed them over, and Allison took them with a slight arch of her eyebrow. "Fisher Corporation is huge, and you're the CEO juggling a ton of stuff. Do you really handle these small lawsuits personally?"

Her words had a playful edge to them.

Joshua laughed it off, unfazed. "Working with you, Allison, is no small affair."

Allison didn't acknowledge the compliment, keeping her expression neutral as she opened the folders to browse through the contents.

For a giant like Fisher Corporation, even one contract could be worth millions. The documentation could span thousands of pages or even fill boxes, which obviously Joshua hadn't brought along.
