Joshua just stood there, letting Allison kiss him-her kisses a little clumsy, all over the place-but he didn't kiss her back. Not even a little.

A wave of frustration bubbled up inside Allison. She let go of his neck and

Joshua's lips quirked in a lazy smile, his deep voice drifting down to her. "Why'd you stop?"

"You don't want to kiss me," Allison said, her tone flat.

Joshua raised an eyebrow. "Did I say I didn't want to?"
