Chapter 1867

Feeling Andrew nearby, Debra slept soundly. There was no more tossing.

Late at night, Andrew finished work.

A single dim lamp glowed in the room. He took off his gold-rimmed glasses and rubbed his brows.

Debra had kicked off her blanket again. He got up and tucked her back in.

As he did, she suddenly grabbed his arm and rolled over with a sweet smile, like she was dreaming of something nice.

Andrew let her hold on.

Nearby, a Teddy Bear pillow sat, worn from years. He'd given it to her when she was ten.

She loved hugging his arm to sleep,
