“Evermore has always been interested in the way of everlasting life of the six Hermit Families” Harvey replied.
"And now, the Braff family has left Golden Sands.
"The John family is destined to rise to power as well.
“Under such circumstances, do you think Blaine will expose himself completely? Evermore will definitely support the John family’s rise, after all.
"With this many benefits, they’d have to give up something too, right?”
Kairi frowned again. She knew the situation would be a lot of trouble.
The John family had authority, and Evermore was equipped with firearms and manpower.
If Blaine didn’t care about his reputation anymore, it’d be awful.

He might decide to take action without holding back.
"Of course, this might still be salvageable,” Harvey said.
“If the six Hermit Families did something out of the ordinary-if the families gave their secrets to the Braff family as a present for the Big Boss... How do you think the situation would progress?"
Kairi froze, then sighed.
"You really did think of everything.
"The John family won’t expect the diversion...and Evermore would lose focus because of the situation as well.
"This isn't the Whip Dynasty. If Evermore wants to go against the royal court, they’d have to think twice or just give up.
“Even so, there's still a huge flaw. The six Hermit Families might not give out their secrets that easily. Even if they did, it probably wouldn't be something that we expect."
Harvey knocked the table.
“Does it matter? The important thing is to make everything seem real.
"Of course, we can go all out and give Damon the secret during his inauguration ceremony.
"Wouldn’t that be a lot more interesting? I’d love to see how he'd react after that.
“Do we give the secret to the royal court? Do we let the John family safeguard it? Or just let Evermore have it instead?
“Blaine likes to hide while scheming, right? Let's pull the John family into this. We’ll see how he's going to play the game now...
"That’s impressive!”
