Chanse was speechless. He wondered if he was talking to an insane person.
"Your attitude stinks, and your brain’s not really working either, huh?" he spat disdainfully.
"Yesterday, you broke two of Kurtis’s arms! Considering his background and connections, it’s already a blessing for you that you're still breathing!
"What the hell are you thinking? How are you still dreaming until now?"
A lot of people were looking at Harvey as if he was an idiot.
Even Damon stared at Harvey with a disgusted glare. Blaine kept warning him that Harvey was a meticulous man, difficult to deal with...
But he was sure someone from the underworld wouldn't be smart enough to play with government officials.
Damon believed that Blaine had constantly lost because of his character.

Blaine was a talented man, but he was much too cautious. He was always overthinking, which would only make him lose everything.
Hence, Damon knew he had to be the one to lead the John family.
While he was lamenting the situation, the door suddenly opened.
A staff quickly entered, looking nervous. "Everyone! Kurtis is here!"
Chanse’s face turned ugly. "See? He’s here to cause trouble! You're done for, Harvey York!"
Damon looked at Harvey intently, and said, "You should take care of your own mess, Sir York. The government will not help you!"
The others were looking at Harvey as if he was a pitiful man. ‘He’s finished for sure!’
“Kurtis...isn’t here to cause trouble!" the staff said weakly. “He said that he came to sign the contract!"
The insults and disdain were gone in an instant. Everyone froze in place, as if they were all slapped in the face.
"What? What did you just say?”
“He’s here to sign the contract? How is that possible?"
"How can a stubborn man like him give in to US that easily?"
"He must be here to threaten the government! He’s probably about to raise the relocation fees, or he’ll make things harder for us!"
"Sigh! Madam Kairi and Consultant York are finished if that’s the case!”
Everyone came back to their senses.
They all thought that Kurtis didn’t come here just to give up. The government would have to pay a great price just to get him to sign the contract.
