Harvey took a deep breath to calm himself down.
“You know exactly what would happen if you even lay a single finger on Mandy.”
“Oh, no, no! We have no grudge against each other. There are a lot of opportunities for US to work together, too!
"Why would I go for Mandy?
“I came here because I got word.
“Maybe you don’t care about the news, but if you do, you should know that there was a plane flying from Wolsingto the outskirts of the city that suddenly disappeared.
“Ms. Zimmer was on that plane...”

Harvey grabbed the handle of his chair with a fierce look on his face.

At Golden Sands Food Market, inside a secluded room.
A plate of Margret de Canard lay in front of Harvey. The smell of the dish was mouth-watering.
However, he had no intention of eating just yet. He only held his utensils, as he looked at Shepard.
Shepard took off his jacket. He rolled his sleeves up before munching down on his food with a grin.
“You’re not really well-versed in the cuisine of Golden Sands, Sir York.
“Here, other than this dish, there isn't really anything else that’s good.
“The Margret de Canard in front of you seems like a simple dish, but it uses only the finest bred ducks.
“That guarantees the dish’s freshness, and there won't be any gamy flavors.
“It’s quite the rare dish! You wouldn’t be able to get it without reserving it beforehand!
“No need to hold back!”
Shepard ordered a few other dishes as well. He was happily munching well-known snacks; he didn't seem like an elite at all.
However, people like him were usually a lot more terrifying.
Someone so low-key surely would have ways to climb the ladder of power.
Based on Evermore and Harvey's relationship, he was already considered brave enough to sit right in front of Harvey.
Harvey took a bite out of the food, but he couldn’t taste anything else other than the bitterness.
Even so, he understood that rushing things would never bring anything good. He decided to speak up after Shepard was done with the meal.
