The harp sounds instantly stopped.
The woman slowly stood up, and glanced at her surroundings.
She was about five-foot-four, with a slim yet defined figure because of her training.
Her face had exotic features. With just a single look, any man would understand why so many kings wanted to conquer the outskirts. Those people clearly weren't looking for wine farms.
The woman was none other than the current person in control over the outskirts' Longmen branch, Kali Howell.
She glanced at Bryar with a hint of disgust, then smiled. “Young Master Bryar. What brings you here to the Outskirts Budokan?”
Bryar smiled back.

“I heard that an ignorant fool has been challenging Longmen's Budokan. I wanted to see who'd dare do something like that against you."
"You must be mistaken. It’s just a bit of infighting, is all. An outsider like you shouldn’t get involved.
Please leave."
Bryar, resentful, glanced at Ernie.
Ernie quickly took a few steps forward.
"You’re mistaken, Ms. Kali! He didn’t come on his own accord.
"I invited these two masters here to fight for the outskirts’ branch.
“Since you know Young Master Bryar already, let me introduce you to Master York. My grandfather looks up to him quite a bit. He came to show his respect!"
Ernie then pointed at Harvey.
Kali seemed a little calmer after seeing Ernie bring someone else here. It looked as if she couldn’t accept Bryar coming all the way here for her.
"Thank you, Sir York," she said after nodding.
"My father’s eight disciples are coming back here tonight, so there’s no need to trouble you two for something like this. But since you’re guests here, you should at least have some tea first."
Kali glanced at Ernie.
Ernie quickly invited Bryar and Harvey into the Budokan. Tea was sent over soon after.
