Asher sighed.
"I didn’t want to suggest this, either! I never wanted to get involved in the first place...but Harvey would be done for if I didn’t do anything!
“Compared to being executed... It’d be way better for him to come clean, right? It's obvious what the right choice is!”
After hearing Asher’s words, Whitley raised her thumb.
"As expected from one of the four great young masters of the outskirts! You’ve thought of everything! You’re a rare talent out of so many princes and young masters here!
"Billie, if you decide to get together with Young Master Asher, I’ll agree wholeheartedly. If you miss this chance, you won't find another man as good as him!”
Billie froze; she was quite fond of Asher, but that was about it. And yet, her mother talked like they were getting married.

Even Harlan froze after hearing Asher’s words. He was wondering if what Asher said was truly the best way to do things.
Judith and her parents looked at each other; they had no right to talk about the situation.
After seeing Billie’s hesitant look, Asher's eyes lit up and he smiled.
"We're still students, ma’am. It’s still a little too early to talk about marriage right now. We’re doing well as friends. I’ll make sure to protect her, too, so don't worry.
“Let’s talk about what's going on instead."
Asher looked at Harlan with a profound gaze.
"As long as you say the word, I'll start making preparations right now. If not, I might not be able to save Harvey once it's too late."
Whitley came to her senses, and looked deeply into Asher's eyes.
“You hearthat?! Nod already! Your nephew’s dead if you don't!”
she screeched.
“Let me tell you something! Young Master Asher said that he came because of his position...but without Billie, he wouldn’t have done anything in the first place!
"I was planning to watch that little bastard die, but since Young Master Asher’s willing to save him, then I won't stop him!”
“No need."
Harlan pondered the situation for a moment, before finally shaking his head.
