Takai chuckled coldly. He raised his head, to find Nanako looking deceitful.
“Stop lying to yourself. Even after ten years, I'll probably still be no match against that little bastard.
“He's at a level that’s simply terrifying! If he keeps growing, he'll become the Island Nations’ biggest obstacle!
"The Kawashima family can't deal with a prominent figure like that. He’s destined to rival the entire country!
“If it wasn't for you, I wouldn’t have ended up like this in the first place!"
Takai gritted his teeth, furious. Defeat wasn't scary at all, but being crippled was. What was he going to do for the rest of his life?

He badly wanted to strangle the one who instigated the whole thing. It was a shame that he couldn't do that anymore.
Nanako hesitated for a moment.
"What should we do now? Now that you're like this, our family’s strength is mostly gone. We’ve become toothless tigers here..." she said.
Takai took a deep breath to calm himself down.
“Since that bastard's destined to be the Island Nations' greatest enemy, we should get the royal family to help as soon as possible.
"Get them to send some of the top talents in my name. This is the only way we can deal with Harvey York!
"Besides that, we need a team of people to look into him. His identity is probably fake. If we don’t figure out who he actually is, we have a huge chance of failing.

After hearing Takai's well-laid plans, Nanako and the others sighed in relief.

“Give Young Master Colby a call. Tell him that the Kawashima family agrees to his conditions. It’s just a few design blueprints of the chips, anyway. Give them all!
"Also, I want the Thompsons to guarantee every single investment we made in Country H."
