Half an hour later, inside the executive CEO’s office.
The office wasn’t that big, being only a thousand square feet wide. There weren’t a lot of decorations inside the room since nobody had used it before. Only a table, a chair, and a couch were inside
But since the office was facing the ocean, it had quite the refreshing atmosphere. Harvey was quite content with this.
He leaned on the couch while squinting at the horizon, a calm look on his face.
“Thanks for standing up for me.” Queenie poured a cup of tea and handed it to Harvey. “If it weren’t for you, I would’ve suffered quite a bit.” “You would?”
Harvey glanced at Queenie with a faint smile.
“You already thought of a plan to deal with all of those guys at once, haven’t you?”
“I’m only helping you so you can do things legitimately.” “After all, it’s only a few days before the birthday banquet.” Queenie smiled as well before pouring herself a cup of tea. Curiosity colored her face.
“According to my information, the Ishikawa family is a tough nut to crack.”
“Not only do they have control of the Ishikawa Corporation and have products shipped all around the world…”
“But many of their members are into politics as well. The lady of the family is now working in Mordu as the representative of the Island Nation Embassy.”
“Most concerning is that the family is backed by one of the Five Royal Families, the Mikado family.”
“You should know that the Five Royal Families are far superior compared to the Six Schools of Martial Arts. They’re all branches of the Island Nations’ royalty. Not only do they have strong backgrounds, but they’re also extremely powerful!”
