Chapter 5970
"That’s exactly the plan!
"Even without proof, it’s still legal to detain you for forty-eight hours!
“If you're not satisfied with it, then sue me!”
Abner Sallow grinned.
"Of course, you can try to oppose the law! That said, you don't want to know what'll happen after that!"
Naturally, Abner was ready to fight to the bitter end.
He was dead set on dragging Harvey York away.
Harvey sighed. He could not get out of the situation with combat strength alone.
Since Abner was going to act this arrogantly, Harvey had no choice but to get someone to talk to him.
When Harvey was looking through his contacts on the phone, Abner instantly slapped it out of his hand.
"What? Are you trying to contact someone?
“No matter who you call, you’ll only hurt them!"
Harvey caught the phone just in time, but his hand accidentally clicked on a number he had saved the night before.

Neil Osborne’s name showed up on the screen.
Harvey was just about to hang up when the call went through.
"Who is it?"
The tone of an upperclassman echoed from the phone.
Only a few people knew of that number.
Those who had his number were at least acquainted with him.
Out of respect, Harvey could not just hang up either.
“Hello, Mr. Neil. This is Harvey speaking."
“Harvey?
Neil froze. He could not recall anyone by that name.
"I don't know you."
"I visited you last night. I left the Phoenix Ink with you. You should “It’s you!
Neil quickly cut Harvey off.
"You’re close to Dutch Cobb, but I have nothing to do with you.
“You were released because you stood up for what was right.
According to the law, you’ll also be awarded in the future.
"Then again, this is a different matter.
"I’ll find a way to compensate for my wife breaking the bottle of Phoenix Ink.
"I hope you’ll stop harassing me in the future.
"After all, we’re destined to walk different paths."
Neil spoke in a cold yet virtuous tone...
But Harvey could hear something else.
Neil did not hand the shards of the bottle of Phoenix Ink to Abner.
