Chapter 6042
"Do you even realize what you're missing out on?
"To many people, they’d only encountered such a prominent figure once!
“If you miss out on a chance like that...
"Then you'd remain a lowly peasant for the rest of your life!
"Do you want to be an upperclassman without Mrs. Andie's help?
"Keep on dreaming!”.
Courtney Lloyd looked bitter as if she was giving Harvey York a lecture.
That said, the disdain and coercion were blatantly apparent in her words.
After all, serving Neil Osborne and his family was no less than a blessing to her.
'How dare a loser like Harvey not cherish an opportunity like this?
'He thinks he’s impressive just because he's trained for a couple of years?
'Doesn’t he know that masters of their own craft would always sell themselves to the people with authority?

'The age of heroes is over!
'No matter how strong he is, without the support of the government and powerful figures, what else can he do other than to sell his performance on the streets?"
Harvey casually sipped his tea without even batting an eye towards Courtney.
Courtney showed a colder glare after seeing that her words did not affect Harvey.
"You want me to be blunt, Harvey?
"Do you think you can just decline because you don’t want to?
"There’s definitely dirt on you no matter how upright you are!
“If you don’t listen, Mrs. Andie can start a thorough investigation on you immediately!
“You won't even get a chance to regret your decision when that happens!
"After all, people locked behind bars are deprived of their rights!”
Courtney showed a prideful look.
She had previously threatened many people with the same speech, and she believed it would work against a young man like Harvey.
People like him would be most scared of being locked up.
While Courtney was joyous, thinking she had gotten her way, Harvey set his cup down before pointing at the front door.
“Leave!"
Courtney froze.
"What did you say to me?" she exclaimed in rage.
“Say that again!"
She believed she was the top director of the people’s hospital and that wealthy and powerful people had to pay her respect no matter what.
She would be paid thirty-five dollars for every single appointment...
And if she could not be booked, the people would have no choice but to look for scalpers.
