After greeting Mandy, Aunt Anderson turned her gaze back toward Lilian.
"I had no other choice, Lilian! That was why I came," she said with an annoyed expression.
"You know me.I’m a prideful woman!"
"I wouldn't lower my head like this if it wasn’t serious!"
"Nova’s into jewelry design, but she couldn't find a suitable job for the longest time."
"Businesses nowadays have absolutely no standards!"
"I called every single one of them, saying that my daughter's a genius! A talented woman like her would need at least three thousand dollars per month, along with a five-star dormitory and a private car."
"And then what happened? Those businesses only gave her four hundred and fifty dollars and a public dorm!"
"They're clearly looking down at my daughter!"
Aunt Anderson was shedding crocodile tears while beating her chest repeatedly.
Nova, on the other hand, casually swiped her phone without even responding; as if she had nothing to do with the situation.

Lilian pondered the situation.
"I understand.Let me talk to Mandy about this.She'll have Nova work for Zimmer Enterprise for a few months."
"The Zimmer Enterprise?"
Aunt Anderson immediately showed a disdainful expression.
"Do you think I don’t know that your company’s capital gains are nonexistent? The company hasn't paid its employees for months!"
"You want my daughter to do your work for free?!"
"What's the point of that?"
"Besides, my daughter is a jewelry expert! She's a professional!"
"Your company is on the verge of bankruptcy! My daughter can't join something so lowly!"
Aunt Anderson's face was filled with utter disgust.
Meanwhile, Nova’s thin mouth pouted after hearing those words.
"That's right.With my status, I can’t just be employed in some rundown company."
"Forget learning anything, I'll also have to work for free.If I accept this, I'll be forced to lower my standards!"
Lilian’s expression changed, but she forced out a smile.
"Since you're not interested in our company, how else can we help?"
Although Lilian had nothing but utter disdain for Harvey, she was still quite caring toward her own family.
"I've already thought about this.We don’t care about those small businesses!"
Aunt Anderson showed Lilian a determined expression.
"I think my daughter needs to be working under the Pagan family’s Archa Corporation!"
