She tried to climb out of bed, eager to run away, but her feet felt like lead.

The effects of the drugs were too strong for her to even stand up!

Gritting her teeth, she struggled to reach for the fruit knife on the bedside table and then slashed her arm.

Blood gushed out at once but the pain sobered her up a little.

As soon as she made it to her feet, she heard a commotion outside the door.

Without thinking, she stumbled to the window and climbed out.
