The look in Evander’s eyes grew cold as he watched the taxi disappear from sight.

Floretta tugged on his arm and said worriedly, “Daddy, Angel left because she got a call from a guy. She might be in danger. We should go after her!”

Evander frowned slightly upon hearing that.

His tone sounded a little impatient as he said, “There’s no need for that. She has to take responsibility for her own actions. Come on, let’s go home.”

Although Angeline didn’t say where she was going, Evander could tell from her panicked expression that it had something to do with Hanson.
