Chapter 37 Her heart skipped

Outside the Mayor's Mansion.

Elle came down from the car, she was wearing a black trouser and a black hoodie also. Her hair was packed into a ponytail and and she also wore high boots to match with it, making her look a villain in a movie. She was putting on a face cap. And she also wore an airpod in her ear for easy access to Damien.

She pressed a button on the airpod.

"Dam, come out now. It's secured.." She mumbled looking around and then she brought a nose mask and then wore it. She also brought out glasses, she also wore them.

"I'm going in.." She mumbled and then she started to climb the fence. Then she jumped down causing a thud. That alerted the guards.

"Who's there?" A voice said and suddenly footsteps wrte heard.

Elle stood with a smirk, she was expecting them anyway.

"Hey, who are you?!" One of them asked and Elle laughed sinisterly.

"Come to momma.."

Damien also jumped down from the fence.

They all charged towards them and they began dealing with them, exchanging blows, kicks with them and soon they were on the ground lying unconscious. As they were about going, twenty of them rushed out again and one pointed a gun at Damien. Elle immediately brought out her gun and shot him in the head. He fell to the ground dead. The others charged towards them again and another round of battle began.

After a while, they were on the ground too, unconscious, some dead.

"We have to hurry Dam, I'm sure Langford is trying to find a way to escape.."

Damien nodded and as they opened the door to the mansion. They saw Langford and some other guards standing behind him.
