Chapter 46 Another missio
Just as he got to his car. His phone rang and he smiled when he saw that it was Elle calling. He answered the call immediately.
"Baby.." He called.
"Baby, I'm.. I'm so sorry with the way I spoke to you earlier, something came and I was pissed.." She said, whimpering like she was crying.
Tyson's heart melted immediately upon hearing her sobs.
"No, no, it's fine. I understand. I understand how you must feel. What's it?" He asked.
"My mum, she fell sick again and I thought I was going to lose her but thankfully the sickness was not so much. I was just heartbroken at the moment. Sweetheart, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.." She cried again and He sighed.
"I told you I understand Elle. Just that, next time, tell me. I'm not your boyfriend for nothing.." He said and then smiled.
"Okay, you need to take your beauty rest. Goodnight and sweet dreams.."
"Goodnight.."

"Love you too.." Tyson then hung up.

Elle dropped the phone and looked at Kiera who was already sleeping. Why wouldn't she? When she has talked so much.
She kept on talking about the handsome stranger. It was the first time Elle saw her daughter being swayed by a guy she barely knows. And even just meeting him for some minutes, she already came to love him.
Elle smiled and touched her hair and then kissed her forehead.
Just looking at her reminds her of Jason. She got most of his looks, her eyes, her pointed nose and her heart shaped lips.
"Baby, I promise you. You will get to know your father soon and I'm sure your happiness will be full because of it.." She smiled again and then tried to stand up but Kiera held her right hand firmly refusing to let her go.
"Mummy, please stay with me. Don't go. I missed you so much. I missed you sleeping beside me.." Kiera said and opened her eyes.
Elle sighed.
"What of her mission tonight!"
Nevertheless she still nodded.

She lay on the bed and Kiera hugged her tightly. Elle then covered themselves with the duvet. She kissed Kiera's hair again.
