“Tomorrow is the day, Derrick.” Derrick’s beta, Shawn said with an evil look on his face.
“I know and I hope you all know what to do as well.” Derrick said with gritted teeth while looking outside the window, at the dark forest ahead.
“We all know and we are prepared but do you still think it’s going to be a good idea to get into his party?” Shawn asked with a frown of worry. He was doubting their plans at the end moment which they have been making for the past one week.
“And why do you think it’s not a good idea?” Derrick asked in anger. He didn’t like his own beta doubting their plan.
“Because it’s alpha Dominic, alpha of alphas. And unfortunately we are under him, his territory. He is our alpha as well. So, if we barg into his party like this, he has full rights to take actions against us. On top of that, he was already looking for an opportunity to do that.” Shawn tried to make sense but Derrick didn’t pay heed to his words.
“You are scared of him? You are my beta, you shouldn’t feel intimidated by him. You know when I succeed in doing what I want, I will be in his position or maybe in a higher position than him. I will fucking rule this territory. I will own it and make all of them bow to me. I will fucking make that possible.” Derrick said with a burning passion in his eyes while Shawn was afraid that he would get burned himself in that fire.”
“I support you in every stage of life, Derrick but I am talking about tomorrow here. You are still not in charge. It’s still alpha Dominic who owns a lot of power. I just don’t want you to get involved in a fight tomorrow as well
“Don’t worry, Shawn. I know what I am doing. I am not going to barg into his party like that without any reason. I am going to take what’s mine and I am sure nothing in this world can stop me from taking that away.” Derrick said with a smirk, an evil glint in his eyes which even scared Shawn.

“Also if he initiates a fight tomorrow as well, it will be the second time he will be attacking me tomorrow. He better be prepared for getting a warning notice from the councils. Then I will see where he will go with that power which he was misusing on me. Also, we will go there. He is not going to win this time. I am not going to let him win this time.” He said with darkened eyes but Shawn still had doubts.
“What if that doesn’t work? What if she plays smart?” Shawn asked with a frown.
*Play smart?” Derrick laughed out loud. “She is anything but that. She dug the hole for herself by her smartness and I am just taking advantage of that. But still if something happens, then we will go with the plan B and kidnap her. Do whatever you want but I want her. At any cost.” Derrick growled with his eyes flashing red
“I would understand if you want her just for revenge because you were attacked because of her. But you don’t want her for that. Why do you want her then?” Shawn asked in confusion.
He knew how complex minded his alpha can be but getting all crazy for a rogue was not settling logic with him
“Don’t you understand, Shawn. All my life, from the time I have become the alpha, I am hunting down the rogues for a reason. And the reason was nothing else other than finding that special blood which she carries. And for that stupid bitch, Suzanne. I couldn’t know about it, even after having her in my pack for almost three years, What could be more frustrating than this?” Derrick growled while planning an almost murder for Suzanne.
“But this is it? What’s so special about her blood?” Shawn asked. Derrick isn’t the typical alpha to share everything with his beta like everyone else does which explains Shawn’s cluelessness. But he couldn’t hold the curiosity anymore.
“She has special blood, Shawn. She has power, immense power within herself. Don’t you think that’s enough to have her?” Derrick asked with a sadist look on his face as if was getting excited already.
“But I hope you realise by now that Suzanne lied about her being an alpha’s daughter. She was just scaring us so that we won’t hurt Athena.” Shawn said with gritted teeth as he felt like killing Suzanne at that moment for lying to them like that.
“I know that and that’s why one danger is gone. So, we just have to go and get her. That’s it.” Derrick said and Shawn nodded at him.
“Okay, but what do you plan to do with her after bringing her here?” Shawn asked with a small frown. Derrick smirked hearing him.
“I will obviously play with her a little bit at first. Then will show her what happens when people disobey m e or disrespect me. I will make her pay for what Alpha Dominic did to me. The wound is still fresh.” Derrick’s eyes got darkened once again as he remembered what happened that day.
That alpha leader! Alpha Dominic! He attacked him that day and injured him badly. The wound is still fresh. That ought to happen. After all it was the leader of the alphas, his attack was supposed to hurt more than usual.

“I just want you to be careful, Derrick. I still don’t support going on the bad side of Alpha Dominic. You know that he is the strongest of all the four readers.” Shawn warned.
“What are you worried about? That he will kill me because I will take Athena?” Derrick asked and laughed out loud. “You are mistaken then. He doesn’t like her. He can’t even stand her.” He said with a smirk.
