  1. 72. Upset Dominic 

“Dominic! We need to talk.” Athena said while turning to look at him. She didn’t want things to get stiff between them once again after they have passed through all these hassles. And from the look of Dominic, she knew whatever he was thinking wasn’t anything good.

“I don‘t think we have anything to talk about.” He said while not looking at her and suddenly got up from the sofa was going to walk past him when Athena caught his hand, stopping him from leaving. She looked at him with a frown.. “Dominic! Why are you being like this? sit down and let‘s talk.” Athena said with the same frown as she tugged on his hand again.

She knew he was hurt, maybe a little bit angry but mostly hurt. She also knew the reason for his hurt. After all, which father won’t be hurt if not acknowledged by their own son. She knew he wanted her to tell Ace about him being his father. But how could she just drop the bomb on her sweet child? It could attack him like a shock as well.

But apart from that she has another reason of her own which was stopping her from doing so but she can’t tell Dominic about that. It‘s going to hurt him more.

“I am not being like anything, Athena. I just have some work and I need to take care of them immediately. I will talk to you later.” He said in a somewhat normal tone as he tried to pull his hand away from her, immediately earning a scowl from her. She wasn’t liking how he was shutting her off instead of talking about the issue in hand.
