Chapter 94. Meeting with the doctor
“D… Dominic… Dominic…”
The feeble tone of Athena brought Justin from his thoughts and he jumped from his chair. They were all taking turns into visiting here while taking care of other things. It was now his turn. He didn’t think that she would get up in front of him and he didn’t know what to do other than becoming a nervous wreck.
“Athena! You are awake! Doctor, doctor!” He shouted in panic and tension while literally jumping on his spot. She let out a loud groan as soon as he shouted, making him look at her with widened eyes. He looked at her in a way as if she would turn into a red wolf now and strangle him to death.
“Ahhh! My head hurts! Don’t fucking shout!” She snapped at him in irritation while holding her head with both hands. His eyes widened hearing him and he realised what he did. He gave her a sheepish look before helping her sit up when he saw that she was trying to sit up
“Oh… I……am so sorry, Athena… I…got excited! The doctor is coming right away.” He explained in a nervous tone, eaming an’ unbelievable’ look from her.
“W… water….” She looked away from him and coughed out the word while eyeing the water.
“Oh right…” He exclaimed in a slightly loud tone which earned him another glare before he put his hand over his mouth. He gave her another sheepish look before picking up the water bottle and handing it to her. “Here you go…” He decided to whisper this time. She immediately drank from there in one breath. Her throat was completely dry. After drinking the water, she looked around i n confusion
“Justin?” She asked out of nowhere while looking at him in confusion. From her look, it seemed like she had just realised who was i n front of her.
“Yes?” He questioned back in confusion.
“Wh…where am I? Wh…what happened….?” She stammered out in an anxious tone after analysing her circumstances better. He frowned hearing her question.

“You don’t re….” He was going to ask but a voice from the door stopped him. They both looked at the door and found a woman around their age standing there. She was wearing a white hospital coat and had a stethoscope around her neck. Athena immediately recognised her as a doctor. The doctor walked in with a warm smile on her face.
“Excuse me, Gamma. Could you please move a little? I have to check up on Luna.” She said in a soft tone while looking at them with a smile still
“Sure, sure…” Justin cleared his throat before moving away from Athena and making place for the doctor.
“Doctor? I am in the hospital? Why am I in the hospital?” Athena exclaimed out loudly while looking at them frantically. She was immediately on her defense mode.
“Did she forget everything?” Justin asked the doctor in a worried tone. Athena’s eyes widened hearing him.
“Forgot? What did I forget?! Why am I in the hospital?! What’s happening?” She asked loudly while looking at them for answers.
“Luna, please calm down. And gamma, could you please leave us alone? You are not helping with the situation.” The woman’s face had a stern look as she turned to look at Justin and he immediately knew that he messed up. He gave yet another sheepish look to her before taking a small step back.
“Oh, I am so sorry… I will leave you to do your job. Please take care of her.” He said with a small smile and after that he walked out o f the room after giving a small assuring nod at Athena who was still frowning at him.
“Sure.” The doctor nodded at him before turning back to Athena. Her smile was back on her face,
“What’s happening?! I don’t understand.” Athena snapped in anger and frustration while looking at the doctor who was her only hope in getting the answers she wanted. The answers would help her out of this confusion.
“It’s okay, Luna Calm down. Take it easy.” The woman said in her soothing tone but unfortunately it wasn’t helping Athena at that moment. She was lost at that moment and she needed answers to help her, not soothing tone.
“Who are you? Stop telling me what I have to do or not and answer my damn questions.” She snapped at the woman, irritated without any reason but instead of flinching or feeling upset by her behaviour, the woman smiled at her again. That irritated her some more.
“I am Lisa I am a doctor and I am in charge of you currently, Luna. I will answer all your questions but before that you will have to answer some of my questions which might lead you to your answers. Is that okay?” Lisa asked in a professional tone and at that
moment Athena felt embarrassed by the way she was acting like a brat in front of her. She let out a sigh before taking a deep breath and looked at Lisa with a calm expression.
“Okay, tell me what is it? And I am sorry for reacting this way and behaving rudely with you. I am just confused.” She said with another sigh and Lisa smiled at her understandingly
“I understand, Luna…” She started talking when Athena interrupted her.
“My name is Athena. Please, call me by my name.” Athena said with a small and convincing smile which Lisa couldn’t deny. She gave her a small smile.
“Sure. Athena…, so, tell me, do you feel any pain? Headache or any kind of body ache?” She got into her professional mode again and asked while taking up the notepad and pen to note down everything Athena was going to say
“Uh… I was having a headache a while ago when Justin was screaming but now it’s gone. My bones are a little stiff but nothing much.” Athena explained and they both chuckled a little at the mention of Justin
