“What do you mean you wanted to see this? What did you want to see?” Nathan asked with a deep frown. His tone was filled with confusion.
“And what was it all about all those questions?” Justin asked with a similar expression as Nathan while Dominic just smirked at them. Athena looked at him in disbelief before looking away from him with a sigh. But that didn’t stop Dominic from playing around with them.
“Did those questions scare you all?” Dominic asked with a small chuckle, it was clear from his face that h e was enjoying whatever was happening.
“To be honest, yes alpha.” Suzanne replied with an offended frown on her face, ready to throw a fist once again if necessary. But Dominic didn’t give her the chance to do anything anymore. He looked at the pack members who were looking at his way very eagerly.
“But you handled it very bravely. Don’t be scared. It was just a test.” He said with a small smile, making everyone confused.
“Test?” The team members asked at the same time. Their friends didn’t ask anything this time and waited for him to explain himself.
“Yes, all these days, I have heard so much about her leadership skills and about my pack members’ smartness. I was jealous of Athena that only she got to experience and witness all that. I wanted to witness that as well. So…” Dominic was explaining himself but trailed off at the end and looked at Athena with a smirk, giving her a chance to complete the sentence for him. She shook her head at him before looking down at the pack members.
“So, he forced me to ask all those weird questions to you all and create a disturbing environment.” Athena completed the sentence and at last showed a small smile.
“I didn’t force you, Athena. You shouldn’t lie. We made a deal and I already paid you half of the amount. You will get the rest later.” Dominic said with a smirk, his eyes were filled with mischievousness. Athena’s eyes widened when she realised what he was talking about.
“What deal?” Justin asked with squinted eyes, while looking at them with suspicious eyes.

“NOTHING!” Athena exclaimed out loudly, making them look at her with more suspicion. Dominic was having a hard time handling his laugh. But before anyone could say something, she quickly spoke up. “So, what I was saying, he made me do this stupid thing to see how I perform as a Luna and how you guys react to these stupid yet scary questions. You guys kept my pride.” She said in one breath while grinning nervously, praying that they forget about it.
“You shouldn’t doubt our Luna, alpha.”
“She is the best Luna we could ever get.”
Two of the pack members shouted in excitement.
‘There is no doubt about that. I saw what a great Luna she is.” Dominic said in a soft tone while looking at her lovingly. “So, the rejecting thing is… nothing? Right?” Suzanne said in a slow tone, making sure. “Yes, in fact, I have something really important to do which I want to do by keeping my whole pack as a witness.” Dominic said, suddenly getting serious. He turned toward Athena suddenly, getting her caught off guard. “What is it. Dom…?!” She shrieked out loudly when she saw that he suddenly kneeled down in front of
him. Her eyes widened in fear and shock. “Dominic, what are you doing?!” She shrieked out once again. “I am doing what I should have done a long time ago. I am sorry for taking so long.” He spoke up.
“Wh…what are you talking about?”
“I am sorry, Athena. I am sorry for all the pain I caused you. I am sorry for rejecting you before. Sorry for not being there with you when you were pregnant with my child, my heir, Ace. I am sorry for every hardship you had to go through alone and all because of me, because I rejected you.” He apologized with utmost sincerity. Athena’s eyes teared hearing him. This is what she wanted from the start and she finally got it.
“Dominic, you don’t have to do this. You already took back the rejection.” She said in a soft tone.
“No, that’s not enough. I need your forgiveness to start this from the start with a lot of power and strength. So, tell me, do you forget me for all the stupid things I did?”
“Yes, yes. I forgive you. From the core of my heart. Now get up. It’s over.” She spoke up in a shaky tone, trying to pull him up but he didn’t let her do that.
“It’s not over yet.”
“Oh, my god! What’s more left?” She groaned, having a great difficulty in controlling her emotions. And it was so overwhelming for her and she didn’t want to break down in front of all these people.
“I am yet to respond to you.” Dominic spoke up while looking at her with love.
“Respond to me? About what?” She asked in confusion No one interrupted them.
“I love you too, Athena. I love you from the core of my heart. I wanted my whole world to know this. And soon, I will make sure the whole world knows that you belong to me.”
“Oh my god, Dominic! You made me the happiest person alive today. You fulfilled all my emptiness and completed me today! I love you!”
