Chapter 500 Plead His Case

Lysander remained silent, lifting her gaze to the stars above..

Amelia heaved a sigh. “I had no choice but to run. You wouldn’t understand the rules there. Even if I complied, there was no guarantee of a peaceful life till old age. So, of course, I had to flee.
