Chapter 509 Who Should I Have a Child With

The scene felt so surreal it was almost unbelievable.

Aiden lifted his free hand and rubbed his eyes, doubting his vision. After focusing again, his pupils widened in shock, and he forgot the rest of what he intended to say.

Both Josiah and Lysander heard him but were too preoccupied to respond immediately. Only when Aurora had drunk half the bottle and smiled contentedly did they look over at him together.

Lysander, having no particular opinion of Aiden, gave a slight nod as a greeting and then sat back down.

Carefully holding the baby, Josiah said in his usual tone, “Sit down, and let’s talk.”

Aiden silently took a seat across from them, glancing back and forth between Josiah and the baby, his eyes filled with unspoken questions. He looked like he was about to blurt out, “When did you two have a baby?”

Seeing his dazed expression, Josiah didn’t rush to explain. Instead, he asked, “Did you bring the stuff?”

His tone was noticeably softer because of the baby in his arms.

“Yes, I did.” Aiden quickly placed the brown document bag on the table and pushed it toward Josiah and Lysander. “Time was tight, so I gathered everything I could find and brought it here. I hope it helps.”

While speaking, he continued to stare at Aurora, trying to discern who were her parents from her features.

Thanks,” Josiah said. He gently lifted Aurora’s bib and wiped her mouth. After that, he glanced at the paper bag and added, “Give it to Lysander.”

Still somewhat dazed, Aiden pushed the bag toward Lysander. His confusion had lessened, but now he seemed unsure of how to address Lysander. The bag’s contents looked like a hot potato, hard to hold and even harder to let go.

“Um… this is for you,” he said.

Lysander asked, “May I know what this is?”

Aiden sighed in relief and quickly explained, “it is for you. I am just the delivery guy. These are documents Mr. Guerra asked Ms. Collins to compile. They’re from projects he handled while overseeing Guerra Group.

The words were spoken casually, but Lysander was momentarily taken aback upon hearing them. Given that these documents likely contained sensitive business information, she didn’t expect Josiah to share such important materials with her.

Before coming here, Aiden thought that Josiah wanted to see these documents, and he didn’t know Lysander was there. Seeing that slie was confused, he added, “Some of the older projects were hard to compile, so these are just recent ones from the past few months. Ms. Collins is still working on the rest.

“Thank you, and please extend my gratitude to Ms. Collins as well.”
