Aaron smirked as he climbed into his car. With a roar of the engine, he sped off, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake. It seemed like he had completely lost it, and Casper couldn't help but see a reflection of his own wild past in Aaron's madness. What had happened today?

He took a lingering look at the yard before heading back into the living room. Brock was still shaken but now sleeping fitfully. Eliza had been comforting him the whole time. Today had been nothing short of bizarre.

Why would someone try to snatch her kid right outside the daycare with cops on duty? And why there, of all places? What was Aaron doing there at that exact moment? More importantly, was Nova really the person she had seen in that minivan?

None of it made any sense. It was all so random, with no reason.

If it really was Nova, then was there a connection to Casper? But why would Casper want to kidnap Brock? That didn't even make any sense.
