Chapter 314

"Who told you Casper was dead?" Caroline shoved him hard, letting years of pent-up anger spill out. "Zach, who do you think you are? How is a bastard trying to become the CEO of Welton International? Do you even have what it takes?" "Caroline, I called you my sister out of respect. Don't throw it back in my face. Right now, I'm the only one who can take over Welton International," Zach's tone shifted.

He adjusted his suit, addressing the company veterans in the room. "Casper is dead. You all know Welton International's tradition-it gets passed down to men, not women. No matter how capable Caroline is, she can't be the CEO. Think about it. Supporting me will maximize your interests."

The veterans exchanged silent glances.

Zach smirked and shrugged. "You're not still hoping Casper will come back, are you? His car spiraled out of control, over a cliff thousands of feet high, and into the unfathomable depths of the sea-you've lived long enough to know what that means, right?"

"If you're reluctant to support me, I can bring my dad over to talk to you personally."

Zach looked supremely confident, almost smug.

Brock threw his toy at Zach in anger. "You're mean."

"Ouch..." Zach picked up the toy from the floor and strode over to Eliza and her son. "Hey, little buddy, that's not very nice."

He then broke the toy in half with his hands and tossed it at Brock's feet.
