Chapter 568

Eliza found herself overwhelmed, with two kids already and another on the way, she wondered how she'd manage.

"Don't worry, I'm here for you," Juan assured her, trying to ease her worries.

"Can you really support us forever?" Eliza asked, as she finished organizing her things and gently patted her growing belly. "Alright then, I guess we're all set."

Thanks to Juan's arrangements, Eliza moved into the hospital a good two weeks early to prepare for the birth. It could have been her imagination or just plain old anxiety, but she often felt like someone was watching her in the dark of night. Every time she opened her eyes, there was nothing there. She chalked it up to pre-birth jitters.

Despite the nerve-wracking wait, the big day finally arrived. Juan, his hands trembling with nerves, escorted Eliza to the delivery room. He was more anxious than she was. "Don't worry, I'll be right outside," he promised. "Okay," Eliza replied.

The delivery wasn't exactly smooth sailing, but compared to when she had Brock, I was a breeze. The baby's loud cries filled the room, and Eliza felt like she'd transformed once more. In the shadows of the hallway, a mysterious figure let out a long sigh of relief. "Mr. Casper, are you sure you don't want to take a peek?" Dillon asked quietly.

Casper's fingers twitched for a moment, but then he shook his head, "No, I'm good."

The delivery room doors opened slowly, and Eliza was wheeled out, looking exhausted yet glowing with the joy of becoming a mother again. She was too wiped out to move, her hair damp with sweat.
