Eliza clutched the hefty pen, her eyes lingering over the blank space on the paper, a storm of hesitation swirling within her. Finally, she exhaled deeply and scrawled her name across the page. Audrey couldn't have been happier. A satisfied smile tugged at her lips as she gracefully slid a credit card from her purse and placed it in front of Eliza. "Here's some money to get you started. If it runs out, just come back to me." Eliza shook her head quickly, "Mom, I've got enough."

"My dear," Audrey gently stroked Eliza's hand, her gaze tender and full of meaning, "What I'm giving you isn't just money-it's a piece of my heart. She wasn't sure if Casper was around since he often went out for lunch with Dillon in the past.

The CEO's office had been relocated and revamped, and this was her first visit. The door had a keypad lock, and if Casper wasn't inside, Eliza was stuck. Eliza was about to ask if Casper was in when Summer strutted past her without a glance.
