Lucas got out of the car and saw Irene standing in the courtyard. He glanced at her.

"Mr. Lucas, I've already made dinner." Irene immediately went over to Lucas and asked, "How were classes today? We got back the results for our mocks today. Mine aren't bad." Lucas said, "Can you get into Turlington University?"

"It's a little risky," Irene said honestly. "I'm not a hundred percent confident. So, I plan to work for another month, and then I'll be resigning to focus on the exams."

Irene told Lucas her plans, hoping that he would understand her decision.

Irene was a little stunned. At the same time, she shook her head. "No need, Mr. Lucas. Just pay me accordingly. I can find other jobs during the summer to support myself. By then, I'll just take a student loan for my school fees."
