Nola, forgetting to refuse Elvis, let him carry her into her room. When seeing him do everything cautiously with many worries in his cold eyes, Nola was shocked and grief instantly rose in her mind.

She thought it was strange to be like this. He was not keeping himself apart from her now.

“102.2 degrees!” Elvis looked terrible when looking at the thermometer. He didn’t take good care of her, so she was ill now. He sighed and then went to the bathroom with a cold towel in his hand when coming back.

Elvis felt angrier when looking at her awkward expression. She was still getting angry with him since she was ill now.

“Nola, lie there. Isn’t 102.2 degrees serious, is it? What if you become a fool?”

Nola lied. The grief that she had endured these days suddenly rushed to her mind like a tide when hearing him shout at her. Perhaps because she was ill, she was so fragile that she couldn’t help herself and her eyes were full of tears.
