“She was discharged?” Lucas asked with a frown.

“Yes. I spoke to the attending doctor. He said her condition had improved and that she only needed a daily IV drip. Ms. Wright is a doctor herself, so she can handle that. That’s why the doctor approved her discharge,” Gordon explained.

“I see,” Lucas said, then hung up the phone.
