The best way seemed to involve Elysia, but that meant putting her in danger. Elliot wasn't willing to take that risk, and neither was Tarquin. There was a moment of silence in the hallway before Tarquin spoke up, "Don't worry too much. Even if we do nothing, he'll show up eventually. His plan isn't finished yet. If we can't find any leads, we just wait!"

Elliot agreed, nodding. The mystery man had been pulling the strings for years, playing a long game with a very specific goal in mind. He would continue to haunt them until the very end, sure to make a move himself! Until then, all they had to do was stay vigilant and patient.

Time passed, and there was still no word from the mystery man. It was as if he had vanished into thin air. Elliot and Tarquin found no traces of him. He made no moves. Life for the family of six was peaceful and comfortable. Tarquin got along well with Elysia, as well as with Elliot, Evan, and Emmett.
