Back at the office, I wrapped up some work, but by six o’clock, I suddenly felt weak and dizzy.

It was like those early signs of catching a cold.

I didn’t hesitate–I went straight to the clinic for some meds.

I remembered back in my previous life, whenever I caught a cold, I’d milk it for a couple of days just to see how Jared would fuss over me.
