Stuart had just gulped down a smoothie spiked with a potent concoction. And he'd finished every drop! Adelaide felt like the stars were aligning in her favor. With such a hefty dose, even a man as stoic as Stuart wouldn't be able to resist. Adelaide steeled herself and locked the study door behind her. Today, no one could thwart her plans, not even if Morwenna herself returned. She was determined to have Stuart, come what may!

At the hospital. Jethro was in surgery. Violet paced nervously outside the operating room. Morwenna and Barclay sat a short distance away, waiting. Barclay kept stealing glances at Morwenna, seemingly wanting to speak to her but at a loss for words. Morwenna ignored Barclay's predicament, her fingers dancing over her phone's keyboard. He was still grappling with guilt over initially bullying Morwenna and wanted to apologize. But with Morwenna paying him no mind, Barclay struggled to swallow his pride and speak up. "Morwenna, can you put the phone down for a sec?" Barclay finally blurted out. Morwenna looked at him, puzzled. “What's up?"
