I watch as Olivan rushes towards the window. The taste of betrayal stings strongly.

Jai growls as Atticus launches himself at Olivan who kicks him off, knocking the wind from him, and making Atticus inhale the gas.

“Atticus!” I shout as Olivan pulls out a gun, but it’s knocked from his hold when Jai throws himself at him.
